Privacy & Content Reporting
1. Reporting a Campaign That Violates Your Privacy
If you notice a campaign containing a photo, video, or text that reveals your personal information without your consent, you may request its removal. This includes images, descriptions, or any identifiable content shared on MortFund.
2. Reporting a Campaign Violating a Patient’s Privacy
If a campaign features photos, videos, recordings, or any identifiable materials that violate the privacy of a sick or hospitalized individual, please notify us immediately. Our team will review and take prompt action.
3. Reporting a Violation of a Child’s Privacy
MortFund places a high priority on protecting children. If any campaign contains content featuring your child without proper consent, we will review and remove such content in line with our Privacy Policy.
4. Reporting Privacy Violations Affecting Others
If a campaign publishes or distributes images, videos, or personal information of your friend, family member, or relative without consent, please report it immediately. We will investigate and take appropriate action.
5. Reporting Unauthorized Use of Company or Organizational Content
MortFund strictly prohibits unauthorized use of business or organizational content. If your company’s image, logo, video, or materials are used without permission, report it for immediate review and action.
PLATFORM FEES & CHARGES
6. General Fundraising Fees
MortFund applies a 10% total deduction on funds raised, consisting of:
***5% platform fee
***5% third-party payment processing fees.
Payment processing charges may vary:
* Local Nigerian cards: approx. 1.5% + ₦100 per transaction.
* Foreign cards: approx. 3.9% + ₦100 per transaction.
Additional bank transfer or deposit charges may apply when funds are withdrawn to the fundraiser’s account.
All withdrawals are processed within 24 hours.
7. Mass Donation Fee
MortFund applies a 3% platform fee to donors at the point of Mass Donation payment lodgement.
This fee supports:
* Platform operations
* System security
* Continuous improvements for a seamless giving experience
8. Gift Card Fees
A 10% platform fee is applied to all Gift Card purchases. This fee covers:
* Gift Card system operation and maintenance
* Platform infrastructure
* Third-party payment gateway charges
In addition:
*** A separate ₦125 fee is charged per Gift Card for printing and production
*** This printing fee is not included in the 10% platform fee
Beneficiary Advantage
*** Beneficiaries incur ZERO charges
*** The exact value loaded on the Gift Card is fully credited to the beneficiary’s account
