Only pay when the campaign reaches its fundraising deadline - When you commit, you will provide your payment information, but you will not be charged. Your money will only be charged if the campaign has reached its fundraising deadline. MORTFUND LTD service fee will be charged if the campaign has reached its fundraising deadline even if the campaign has not yet reached the fundraising goal.

Payment Gateway Partners

MORTFUND LTD and its payment partners can authorize or retain a fee on your credit card (or any payment method you use).

You can change or cancel the commitment at any time before the project funding deadline

In addition to events, you can increase, decrease, or cancel commitments at any time in your campaign. Within the last 24 hours of the campaign, you can’t reduce or cancel your commitment without first contacting customer support.

Contacting Customer Support

The fundraiser may need to send you an appreciation message. To provide incentives, fundraisers may need your information, such as your email or phone number.

After the campaign is successful, they can ask for information

Fundraisers should not ask for personal information that is not needed, nor should they ask for sensitive personal information, such as your Bank Verification (BVN) or National Identification (NIN) number or payment information.

Don’t assume that you can raise funds immediately; there may be a delay between the end of a successful campaign and your access to funds. And, unless you really have the ability to withdraw and spend from your account, please do not take any action that relies on collecting the promised money.

You can return each pledge as needed

Mortfund Fee

We will charge a fee before depositing funds into your account.

MORTFUND LTD and its payment partners will deduct fees before transferring the proceeds of the activity.

Some promises cannot be fulfilled, which may reduce the number of funds you receive. Since certain payments cannot be collected (for example, when the supporter’s credit card expires before funds are exhausted, and they do not provide updated information), we cannot guarantee that the amount of funds you receive is equal to the total pledged amount minus the handling fee.

We will help resolve payment-card disputes

If your campaign supporter and the card issuer object to the charges, we will process the re-fee to resolve the dispute with the card issuer. We will notify you that the dispute has been filed, and you will be able to provide evidence to help us resolve your dispute.

If the cardholder’s dispute is found to be valid, you authorize us to deduct the refund amount from the credit card number you provided when you started the project.

License

It is allowed to temporarily download a piece of information on the MORTFUND LTD website for personal, non-commercial temporary viewing only. This is a grant, not a transfer of ownership. With this permission, you may not:
